Our colourful summer at The Monaco Unique Show

Last June, dreams came true. We travelled to beautiful Monte-Carlo for The Monaco Unique Show, a prestigious jewellery event that brings together an international audience and passionate designers. Think sun, sea, the Le Méridien Beach Plaza Hotel and tables full of dazzling creations. And yes, we were there, with our latest jewellery collections featuring niche coloured gemstones. Because let's be honest: that is where we stand out.

It was a lively week full of encounters with fascinating people, including talented designers from India, Dubai and Brazil, as well as jewellery bloggers. Their fresh perspective on jewellery and the way they connect with their clients inspired us enormously.

But there was more...

Drum roll: Celine wins the Monaco Glamour Award

Besides the beautiful sunsets on the beach, the highlight was without doubt the moment Celine received the Monaco Glamour Award. Not for one, but for two of her unique designs:

  • A 6.95 ct bicolour pink tourmaline in a rare barrel cut, surrounded by pink sapphires in various shades and diamonds: playful, feminine and powerful at the same time.
  • A fiery and very rare 6.87 ct mandarin garnet, finished with orange sapphires and marquise-cut diamonds. The intensity of the colours combined with a rare fishtail setting blew the jury away.

The combination of quality, design and craftsmanship truly made the difference. And we are very proud of that.

Our favourites? Colourful animals with character

Beyond our own creations, we also fell head over heels for a few pieces by other designers: true little works of art that stayed with us. It is exactly these unexpected, artistic pieces that make our hearts beat faster every time.

The parrot brooch. A playful and expressive design set with vividly coloured sapphires and sparkling diamonds. The detail in the feathers, the intense gaze: this is not just a brooch but a miniature work of art that almost comes to life. A technical and aesthetic tour de force by Indian designer Rishi Mehta from Mumbai that kept fascinating us.

The crab earrings. We loved these special earrings by Pavit Gujral, and Michèle even got to try them on. They are set with sapphires combined with two heart-shaped tanzanites: a rare combination that radiates not only colour but also a good dose of daring. Humorous, a little rebellious and certainly not ordinary.

And what does the future hold?

We can already lift a corner of the veil: this month a 12-page article will appear in Living in Monaco magazine. Very exciting, and we can't wait to see the result.

For now we look back on a sun-drenched, inspiring trip full of jewellery, wonderful encounters and a healthy dose of glamour. Monaco, you were magical.
